Every year we host a bon fire. It is one of my favorite gathering that we do and we host a lot of things. It is mostly my family and a few friends. I love the smell of a bon fire, roasting weenies and marshmallows. We have everyone bring a crock pot full of delicious soups or stews.It's a low key event that we all enjoy. I don't have to clean the house to the point of perfection. I get to sit and visit, because all the food stays warm, we have blankets on the really chilly years. Our bon fire is this coming weekend and I can't wait! Good food and great friends, what a perfect way to finish off the season before the madness begins.
