So, here is my schedule for Thanksgiving....on Thursday, I plan on plopping my big ass on the couch for most of the morning to watch the parade. My ham will cook while we enjoy the cheesy, yet oh so, entertaining festival. Then my little tribe will head over to Rita's. We will stuff ourselves horribly...to the point of sickness and then come home. We will have one day to recover....and during this day...I will not (NOT) go shopping! Black Friday is not for me...not one bit! Then, on Saturday, we start all over again! I host my family (a grand total of 45 people...if they all show and they never do!) I am excited to see my siblings...it has been a while. They always make me laugh...and even though we aren't the touchy, feel-y types...I know I am loved! That brings me to the core of this here post: What I am Thankful for:
I am Thankful for my two beautiful kids...without them I would have given up so long ago. They are the true reason I wake up every morning, and they are grown and don't need me as much...but I still feel the same...they are amazing people and I am a PROUD Momma! I am thankful for Dwen. He is the only one for me! He is ying, to my yang! He makes me laugh daily, his voice alone melts my heart and I want to grow very old with him! I am also thankful that my family is here with me...and has not moved off to far away places. I may not see them often but I couldn't function without them...they all drive me batty, but they all contributed to who I am as a person and I must say..."hell of a great job there, guys!". I am very thankful for the huge group of friends I have. These are people I met in high school and have been a constant in my life for 20+ years now. I can ask them for anything...and they can ask me in return! They offer me laughter, support...and some of the best food I've ever eaten! Thank you all for being a part of me and my family. For you all, I am truly THANKFUL!

This sounds like a lot of fun. I rather like the parade... must be the midwest in me. I am only hosting Ashley and Eric at my house this year which is fine by me.
I think it's very important to have someone whose voice melts your heart . . .
I'm a huge parade fan, too. I told Chickenhead that it is required watching on Thanksgiving day, and that he may be tested on it when he goes back to school!
