Science Olympiad

Adam has been involved with Science Olympiad for a couple years now. He really enjoys it. I thought when he first joined that it was just to hang out with the 'cool' teacher...but that teacher left at the end of last year and Adam pushed forward with his love of science anyways. He is team caption for the seniors, he can get people pumped up...he is energetic and contagious. They had regional tournaments yesterday. Dwen & I were going to the college to watch him run his car, (An electric battery operated car, designed to stop within a 1-10 meter area on it's own) Before we could leave, he texted me saying they already ran their car (bummer) and that it was bad, really bad...it only moved a foot... so I didn't miss anything. He came home with a 3rd place medal for his car. I guess others were having a bad day too. He was pretty happy. I wish I could have been there!
