A beautiful day!

I feel as though a giant weight has been lifted from me! I am finished with all the grad party prep, getting the announcements out and having to deal with the ex and the ex in-laws...nice people but they still think of me as part of their family. For heavens sake it has been 13 years, the ex has lived with 3 different women since we split....he has moved on, as have I, and now it is time for them to let me go! (Stepping off the box now) Summer is soon arriving, which means Luke will spend time with his Grandma (my sister) and I will get to sleep in, lounge around when I want too, and spend countless hours outside in the gardens. The gardens that aren't as nice as they should be...but hey, the flowers are blooming and I am happy....

Peonies always remind me of my Momma...she had two beautiful bushes bloomed next to the front porch. We would hop up on the swing and pretend all kinds of crazy things...to the smell of those gorgeous flowers. If one smell could sum up my happy childhood...it would be the smell of peonies!

Beautiful flowers, beautiful sentiments and how could they let you go? You are amazing! Of course they want you for their family still, silly girl!
