DC

We had a blast in Washington DC! The weather was stunning! We walked 4 miles a day...easily! It was a wonderful getaway and would recommend it to everyone! Here we are using the 'cheesy cam' by a fountain....we took about 900 photos....this is just a sample!

We watched the March for Equality...as they went from the White House to the Capital. I don't think I have ever seen that many people in my life. It was exciting. I am for everyone having the same rights...don't send me hate mail or try to change my mind!
We should have hopped off the wall and went with them! We had other plans.....

As we waited for the March to begin....Martina Navratilova walked by!

Me at the Capital the day before the March.

Me & D at the Word War II memorial...a very beautiful one.

The Washington Monument with the fall foliage!

Lincoln's memorial

The front door of the White House.

Me at Arlington Cemetery in Virginia....this place was surreal. So many tombstones.

JFK's Eternal flame.

The Tomb of the Unknowns.

It isn't a vaca without hitting a Hard Rock...and we hit 2!

Hey! Dum-dum! You give me gum-gum!

Lots of museums...we went to 2. The National Museum of American History and The National Museum of Natural History. Unless you count the Madame Tussauds wax museum...then we went to 3! LOL
