My friend Jenny is doing a little blog party. It's called Alphabe-Thursday!>>
If you have been keeping up with my blog lately, you will know that my husband is experiencing gall bladder issues. It all started Tuesday, early morning. Today was the visit to get a CAT scan done and the 'anticipation' was quite overwhelming for me. In my relationship...my husband is the calm, rational one and I am the flighty, nervous, glazed eye one. So, now I am trying to be more like him and remain calm. 'Anticipation' is not my strongest suit. I am much calmer if I had a purpose. Let me clean the waiting room....hand me the vacuum and I'll throw out all the old magazines from last summer...let me stay busy and I handle the 'anticipation' so much better. But,alas, they made me sit there...hoping and praying for good news...not that a bad gall bladder is good news...more to come on this issues...I'm sure.
I am linked to Alphabe-Thursday!! Play along!

Hoping you get answers soon...Anticipation such a hard thing!
Saw your update. Gallbladder problems are awful, had mine out a few years ago and the surgery and recovery were alot easier than the gall bladder attacks. At least your tech let you know what was going on. I had a student sitting in on mine, and as they started the ultrasound she blurted out "oh, what is THAT". I laughed so hard they had to start over. Good luck to your husband! Kathy
Hey Carol - so glad you are joining in on Jenny's meme. Keeping Dwen and you in prayers and hugs. Keep us posted friend!
that is the worst, the waiting, the not knowing, I hope for the best for your husband
Good luck to your husband on his gall bladder. Anticipation was a good word.
Waiting is hard. So try to stop thinking about it and do something nice for yourself and your husband. :-)
Hope you all are feeling better soon.
I'm no good with anticipation either. I want to KNOW. For me, not knowing generally equals speculation, which equals more stress. Hang in there and best wishes!
Oh Carol, the waiting is just terrible. I'm so sorry!
The worst is over!!! Yuo know what it is! i had my gall bladder out a few years ago and recovery was easy and fast. I am looking at knee replacement surgery this summer....you want to talk about anticipation, that is sooooo true!
fingers crossed for you both :D
Isn't it awful that waiting rooms have ancient magazines. I hate reading about marriages that are now over, news magazines that are ancient history, etc. I always make it a point to compliment offices that actually have CURRENT magazines.
Hope hubby is feeling better. Gallbladder pain can be awful...very good post, anticipation.
anticipation can cause anxiety too...another A' word......I am playing along to in Jennys Alphabe' . I wanted to come say hi...Hope your husband is better soon!
I hope your Hubby has a speedy recovery. The waiting is really hard but the outcome is most amazing!
Good luck
Judy
