Today I will tell you about Jocelyn. I met Jocelyn through her boyfriend, James. I've known James since 4th or 5th grade. He started dating her some 19 years ago and we just hit it off! She is such a BIG part of my life and family. She is the person, I planned on leaving my children too, if anything ever happened to me. That sentence says sooo much! She has always had my back....she is kind and generous like no other. She is the kind of person who sends my siblings birthday cards!!! (Even when I forget too!) Her wit is razor sharp! We laugh so much when we are together. She is an only child to an amazing woman, it is no wonder she awesome! She doesn't judge me, gives it to me straight and from time to time has even let me cry on her shoulder.
Back in the day, we use to get together on Saturday nights, to have dinner at my house, and to watch Cops. (I know, right) Sometimes she would do laundry while we sit there trying to figure out, how the people on that show could be that stupid! We would play board games, most of the time using bad accents. When my Franky boy was home for his last day....she brought him pup cakes from Three Dog Bakery and cried along with us. She is a great friend and knows all my darkest secrets! If there was an award to give out...she would get it. The best thing about Joce, I can go a couple weeks without talking to her...and we pick up right where we left off from the last conversation. In a past life, we were warriors together. There ain't a better person to have at my side!
