One Little Word

Over at my friend Kristen's blog, she introduced me to a new concept. The "One Little Word" concept. She has done this before but it is my first year trying to live my life by one word so.....


My word is:
purge (not very attractive is it)

–verb (used with object)
1. to rid of whatever is impure or undesirable; cleanse; purify.
2. to clear of imputed guilt or ritual uncleanliness.

It kind of goes with my New Years resolution of NO MORE DRAMA!

I will purge my life of drama...it won't cross my threshold.

I will purge myself of guilt, (lord knows I have this shit!!) I will say NO, sometimes....and I will let the ugliness of others roll off my back!

I will purge myself of the nay sayers, drama queens and the users.

I will purge myself of negative thoughts and negative vibes.

I will purge my home of crap, there is a lot of it!

I think this is a good word for me! Not very pretty...but very meaningful!
