It's time for Alphabet-Thursday again and today's letter is F.
With my DH being so sick lately and things not going well...we did get out briefly to watch our son play his first soccer game ever. Adam joined an 18 and older league and I am proud of him for trying something new. They didn't win but that didn't matter to me. It was an hour of 'fun'. Which we haven't had too much of lately. I was excited to take my camera out of it's bag and reconnect with my favorite thing...to shoot pictures. I didn't do an outstanding job taking pictures of all the action but honestly...I didn't care...we were all wearing smiles watching him, and being together as a family was worth more to me than gold!

So glad that you had some fun this week!
It sounds like a nice day. Glad for you to have these moments. Your photos and writing and family life are quite real and precious.
Glad you & hubby got out for a bit, Carol. It's the 'little' things like that that are so important! (And mean so much.) ♥
Oh yes, fun is very important!
Hope your weekend ahead is going to give you some more fun! Happy Thursday!
Carol, I'm glad Dwen was well enough to go to this! I suspect it was medicine you all needed!
And here I thought I was going to read about Rascal F lats when I came so this was a surprise!
F antastic F post!
A+
I'm proud of him for trying something new too! That's way cool!
My daughter and son played soccer and I have such fond memories of this...thanks for the memory!
sports should be all about the fun :D
We all need to have fun now & then!
Good for you! Going out and doing something fun in support of one of your family members is a really great thing to do. You will be able to handle the stress of life better if you remember to recharge your own battery with a little bit of play! :-) Years ago when I worked outside the home, they enouraged us to keep one toy of some sort at our desk. Taking a 60 second play break in the middle of the afternoon would actually make us more productive.
There is nothing more memorable than these little snippets of fun as a family. It doesn't have to be anything huge or momentous to make a wonderful memory. Glad you were able to enjoy a day out. Kathy
This does look fun! I'm glad you got to spend some time with your family, I sure miss mine.
