'V' is for toys!

My 'V' post is about one of my husband's many hobbies! He collects toys. He calls them 'action figures', I call them dust collectors! I knew of this hobby before we married and had a clause put into our marriage contract that I didn't have to dust them! : p

Elvis is part of the collection.
Marvel is too!
My favorite toys are the ones from back in the day when we were kids....he has
Evel Knievel,
Star Wars Darth Vader and.....
Welcome Back, Kotter is an American television sitcom that originally aired on the ABC network from September 9, 1975 to June 8, 1979. Starring John Travolta as the infamous Vinnie Barbarino!
Play along with us....it's Alphabet-Thursday!

OMG, I loved Welcome back Kotter LOL. That was the best show. I didn't know they had action figures. Great collection of actions figures your husband has.

Hi,

My husband is a collector as well. I have to admit that I have a weakness for action figures as well. We should show them how to dust...I'm sure they would be collecting less gingerly LOL

I remember "Welcome Back Kotter"! It was supposed to take place at New Utrecht High School, here in Brooklyn, NY. John Travolta did the Brooklyn accent so well!

You're husband's obviously young at heart! Aside from the obvious sentimental value, he probably has wonderful memories of his "toys," that's probably why he likes to keep his collection nearby.... Thanks for sharing.

I never knew they made the sweat hogs into "action figures" too funny
Thanks,
