I haven't seen the movie Xanadu but there was a Xanadu, I think, in Orsen Welles' movie Citzen Cane. X was a hard word, but you did it well. Best wishes, Anna
I love Olivia Newton John. Never saw the movie though. I was in tenth grade in 1980. The only Xanadu I remember was a Rush song (I believe it was on 2112.) Loved that song, too. It was rather deep. LOL
I never saw this either - don't remember why - it was probably rated PG 13 and I wasn't allowed to go. I loved watching the video - the big hair, the shoulder pads, parachute pants - good grief how did we think we looked good???

I've actually never seen this movie. I too, was a huge Grease fan. Great, original choice for X! Kat
My aunt gave me the soundtrack to the movie for Christmas that year. It was my guilty pleasure!
Carol you are right! We great minds do think alike!
I hope you stop by again. I would love to have you join the postcard exchange. No one loves Kansas I guess! They won't send me a postcard!
Love your blog over here! Anne
This was a trip down memory lane--I loved that movie (I was 11). What a great X idea!

I saw the movie, and like it very much.
I've never seen Xanadu, either. But I loved Grease.

I must admit I've never seen the movie. Didn't even know there was a movie title that started with the letter X.
I do remember the song, but not the movie, interesting X post!

I remember Xanadu and particularly Gene Kelly. I heard with all the retro musicals, they had remade it for Broadway.
