My husband, Dwen is a giant child. You've seen his toys...he is also a big video gamer. He and his best pal Dave, have stayed up all night playing on line with each other. They play Call Of Duty (or COD ). COD is a 'war' type game that you basically carry a gun around and blast stuff...mostly people. Once you have completed all the maps of COD there is a 'zombie mode'. This is the game they LOVE to play. So much so, they were given matching 'kill zombie' shirts for their birthdays!
So much so....Dave's wife, Rita even made this card for Dwen's birthday.
All I know is...that when and if the zombies ever come...I want these two watching my back!

so--i feel like i owe you an apology...a member of my extended family is one of the geniuses behind COD. it is very addictive!

Zombies give me the creeps, willies, shivers, icks, and all manner of not so nice feelings.
But, this was a great post. My Old Guy plays COD too.

Oh, know, you are encouraging these boys, uh, men to continue their game playing. There is no hope, then, for my 25 and 27-year-old sons. I thought they might outgrow it.
I had to laugh when I heard the song begin! LOL No one in my family is addicted to COD, but my nephews are! Lego Star Wars is more the speed in my house...but I suspect my day is coming!
This made me laugh out loud. Did you see the news about the people dressed as zombies who had a car accident on the way to a party? The poor people who came upon the accident thought that they were horribly maimed and injured when they called 911. Apparently they had only minor injuries, but their costumes must have been SOMETHING! Kat

I love this!! Your hubby is such a cutie! I love that they still play video games and get all into it. I grew up as a lil gamer girl so I totally understand the need to get down for hours and hours on a game! We just watched Zombieland on Netflix and it was actually pretty cool...I don't usually get into those movies but you might have an appreciation for it. Great post!
My boys never got into Call of Duty. They also seem to have gone off Halo - and I think I'm glad :)
