December 2009 and January 2010 brought a lot of snow to our doorstep! The boys loved it!
January also brought the beginning of Dwen's gall bladder issues. Adam also turned 19...where does the time go?
February and March was pretty much a blur....we spent many nights in the hospital. So thankful that Dwen is better. It was a very scary time. We missed Cooper's birthday; he turned 2, Valentine's day and our 9th anniversary....but we were together...regardless of our surroundings.
April was an adjustment period...happy to put the dialysis behind us and moving on to greener pastures. Plus Dwen had lost 40 lbs. I needed to fatten him up a bit! Easter was truly a beautiful day spent with our family.
May brought happier times....our niece Kandyz, graduated high school and my oldest sister, Tresa got her Masters in Education. Mother's day was one of the best days of the year...we spent the day together, the 4 of us, at Powell Gardens.
June brought, nephew, Aiden's first ever baseball game and good times spent with family for Father's day.
July was exciting, we attended our 1st ever hog roast, a family reunion and we took a train up to Chicago with friends for the weekend. Great times! We went to Wrigley too. Transformers 3 was being shot while we were there and Dwen was in heaven, watching the filming of that! Plus,Tate & I share the month of July for our birthdays! He turned 6 and I turned 29.
In August, we managed to get all the schedules aligned and had a fiesta! Our big group of friends...we've known each other for many, many moons! I wouldn't trade this group for all the gold in the world! August is also D's birthday month...he too, is 29!
September, Sara turned 23....my brother Ken and his partner, Dan, got married in Cape Cod.
We were lucky enough to join them there to be a part of their special day!
Plus, I love it there....who wouldn't want to go!
October brought lots of fun. I went to my first pumpkin patch....ever! Dominic turns 2 and Halloween was great! Took Luke up and down our street trick or treating!
November brought Luke's 2nd birthday, we also found out Luke is having a baby sister in the spring.
The traditional Macy's day parade and a nice quite Thanksgiving dinner. Let the holiday craziness begin!
Shopping and wrapping and putting up trees....cooking and cleaning and making cookies....all part of celebrating Christmas! While we had good times in 2010....I am ready to close this chapter and move onto 2011.
From our family to yours!
May you be healthy, happy and have a prosperous new year!
