Can you identify a single word that sums up what you want for yourself in 2011?
It can be something tangible or intangible. It could be a thought, or a feeling, or an emotion. It can be singular or plural. The key is to find something that has personal meaning for you. This is not your mother's word or your spouse's word or your child's word - this is YOUR word.
I learned about this cool concept from my wonderful friend, Kristen. Check out her space...Scrappin' my bliss.
One little word can have big meaning in your life if you allow yourself to be open to the possibilities.
Last year, I chose the word 'PURGE'...and I feel that I have purged many things from my life in 2010. I let go of some hurt from a sibling. I purged my home of unnecessary things. I have purged myself of 'most' of my issues with the kids significant others.
This year.....I have picked my word...EXPLORE!
I want to explore new things...try something new, learn something new. Discover who I am....not as a Mom, or as a wife, but as a woman....scrutinize, who I am becoming. Become better at things I already know. I want to put energy into myself for a change. I also want to give of myself, to people who deserve to have my time spent on them, and not waste time on those who don't. Its a big world out there and I wanna be out in it! Camera in hand, of course!

Wonderful idea Carol! I think my word will be "NEW" Your post actually made me name the path I have been planning the last few month for the upcoming year.
My goal is to try new things, take new paths, new approaches and re'new' a fresh spirit for myself in 2011.
Thanks for the thought.
