Many wonderful things are 'bloomin'" around us....and I want to share. Dwen has been working very hard on a new site. His baby. He created Marquee Street for independent film makers. He has even had meetings about getting some investors. Last night he tweeted Kevin Smith, he is a huge fan and Kevin Smith was the concert Dwen insisted he go to the day after leaving the hospital last year! Anyways, Dwen told him if he would spread the word to his fan base about Marquee Street, that Dwen would promote 'Red State' for 2 weeks on MS. He agreed. Dwen's new site is getting a lot of attention. He couldn't be happier!
Adam has taken a semester off from school and is trying to get his life...social...financial and otherwise....under control. He has been working 2 jobs, UPS and another one on the weekend where he works 12-15 hours each day. Needless to say, Sunday family dinner time...wasn't. He got a call yesterday from a major company here locally and they did a small phone interview and asked him to come in for another interview on the 23rd. Very excited for him. This new gig would be set hours and more money. Way to go brotha!
Dwen has been having more issues with his legs...he went to World of Wheels over last weekend and over did it. Now he is super gimped up, but is slowly getting better. I am hoping spring arrives soon to put both of us out of our arthritic misery!
Luke's going to preschool. His Momma (Janise) asked me if I wanted to watch both kids and I declined. I know my limits. Dwen said, 'well, you have done it before, with your kids.' I explained, "I couldn't get rid of my kids and I was 23, at the time!' I told her when Luke was 3 months old, if she got pregnant, I was out. Two years later, they ask me, I declined and they made another offer....Luke goes to preschool (where he needs to be...around other kids, to learn to share, be more social and all that) and I keep the baby for a while. I have agreed, as much as it breaks both, mine and Dwen's heart. Not that we aren't looking forward to the new baby sister {I have named "Lucy" because her parents haven't picked a name yet and I got tired of calling her, well, HER/SHE}, we will miss Luke!! Janise is due the first of May, so I will have the summer off from both kids. Between maternity leave and my sister's summer vaca from school, I won't get Lucy until August. Which is good.....I really want and need a break!
Sara is doing good. She seems to be blooming into an awesome woman more and more everyday! It is cool to watch even though I miss having her with me every where I go. I hope soon, she will look for another job where she can grow and advance....she has mentioned it several times in passing so I think she is ready for a change.
This weekend is sit and scrap with the paper cult.....always a highly anticipated event!
Stampin' Up sales are going good...I am $5 away from my first promotion. Of course, I have no idea what the new title is...my mind just went totally blank.
Today is Cooper's 3rd birthday. Next month is our 10th year wedding anniversary and we are hoping to go out of town somewhere (warm) to celebrate it! Very much looking forward to this trip!!!!
Ready for spring??? I'm so ready for spring, I ache! I have decided to be smart and take a weekly trip to home depot...to buy dirt. and mulch and such.... store it in the garage so when a nice day does hit...I'm not fighting the crowd at the store...I'll be out in it! With dirty hands!!
