Arizona is beautiful....absolutely beautiful. I really liked it there! I could live there!
Our flight out was easy...we went straight from the airport to Jenny's. Jenny is an incredible lady,
I 'met' her 8-9 years ago via a message board on Gooseberry Patch. She is a wonderful writer
and a very good friend. We are meeting for the first time face to face! Very exciting!!
We went out into her gardens that I was very jealous of...we still have a lot of brown winter
colors happening back in Kansas. Looking forward to greens!!
As we sat and visited, she spotted a weed, which was behind me and I didn't even see it but
it drove her crazy so she climbed up and pulled it.
We put flowers in my hair and did a mini photo shoot! LOL
We had to take photos before we left for diner...I had taken them some
Gate's BBQ sauce...little taste of KC! (Jenny & her hubby, Steve)
We hit it off so well, like we were old neighbors! She is soooo awesome!
Out in front of their BEAUTIFUL home.
(Steve should turn on all the lights...he is right it is awesome! LOL)
Jenny took us over to her parent's house to pick fresh oranges. Her parents are lovely, warm people too! That must be where she gets it from! I had never picked oranges off a tree before...
I didn't know I could stretch that far!
YUM!! (Stay tuned...more to come!)
