Over the weekend Dwen and I went searching our hometown
for 'The Sauer (pronounced sour) Castle'. We had heard ghost stories
and such but had never visited it. What I wouldn't give to own it,
restore it and invite people in to step back in time and learn the history.
I love history...I love this house. I will include the link to the Wikipedia page
about it, in case you love history too!
There were fences...draped on top of each other to keep vandals out. Sad really, you can tell I
tucked my lens between the holes on the fence. Love the old dead tree....nice creepy effect,
don't ya think! INFO

That is the coolest house! It would be great if it were open for tours!
Ken grew up knowing this as Egore's Castle. Some of the stories he has--talk about CREEPY!
He and some friends were over there at Night. That would of scared the you know what out of me.
It is an interesting building with a lot of history behind it. It is too bad that noone has not done anything with it.

Rob and I took a tour of this place years ago....it needed lots of work even then. But, it was still beautiful and the story of the place was great....no ghosts though-not even in the telling of it's history.
This is sooo cool! Buy it!
