Sunflowers

About 30 miles from my house...
in a rural farm area....
there is 27 acres of sunflowers...
They only peek 10-12 days...
Sara & I took a little country drive....
to see this amazing site.

They were a good 6 ft, if not 6 1/2.
The last photo was taken by a man who
had brought out his ladder....
I asked him to take some pictures with my camera...
he happily agreed! I've lived in Kansas all my life...
never knew these were only 30 minutes from me until now!
So glad we saw the beauty.....

These are gorgeous pics! LOVE them! They have fields like this in West Texas and in my college days I used to love to drive out to them. Of course, back then I never thought to take a camera. The cotton fields were beautiful too
