All about Cher

I went and hung out with my sista from another motha today, Cherie. We go way back...way, way back! I haven't seen her since August but when we get together we never miss a beat. That is the kind of friendships I enjoy. Time passes, yet we pick up right where we left off the last time we saw each other. We tell each other what is happening currently in our lives, but with Cher...we have our own language...and can start cracking up out of no where....for no reason other than a facial expression that the other knows and understands completely. I alway feel completely comfortable around her, she never judges me and I have given her many reasons to judge me...but she doesn't. She is in a wheelchair but I think she is more active than any able body friend I have and her positive attitude beams onto everyone she meets. She means a lot to me, and I need to make a point to spend more time with her. All this mushy shit being said is true...however, she is like my sister, and can drive me absolutely loony! She has ran over my foot and even fractured a toe...she has called upwards to 10 times in the course of a prime time television time slot, just to ask if I saw 'that' commercial. She has been there with me through thick and thin, watched my children grow up and even added her own brand to them...so to speak. She is thinking of running for Ms wheelchair Kansas. I hope she does it. I think she would be awesome! Cher, YES YOU CAN! Go for it! I'm behind you all the way sista!
More about the program: "The Ms. Wheelchair Kansas program will annually select one woman, who is wheelchair mobile, that will successfully advocate, educate, and empower all people on a state level."

Cherie should DO IT! Life is meant to be lived wearing a tiara!
