The local park is over populated with deer. Before the city does something stupid, I went to get some pictures. I love these creatures and I know they can cause a lot of damage to both gardens and autos...and they have to be controlled, just don't tell me about it! Let Bambi frolic!
I was about 100 yards away, we walked up slowly and saw about 10 of them by the thicket.
We ended up about 30-35 yards away, they knew we were there...always watching. They ended up jumping a small creek and joining about 5 more.
We live about 10 minutes from the park and we saw about 21 deer before we got home.

They are beautiful and it is so sad they are starving with the encroachment of developments. Neat pictures.
