And it begins....

I have an entire wall of Christmas stuff....packed away very neatly in the basement. It takes up the entire wall, and yet I find myself purchasing new stuff all the time. Well, in my defense, I am going to share my beloved Christmas loot with my daughter, who has her own tree but nothing else. With Lucas in the house, I have opted for a table top tree (above) for the family room. I know he can still reach it but I think it will be easier....and I can't NOT put up a tree in the family room. Granted, we may have to build a barrier around the table that the tree will sit on...but in the spirit of Christmas, I will. I also love the LED lights...but I can't seem to find them in all blue...I found all red, and all white of course. They have multicolored lights but I can't do multicolored lights on a tree.....it's a thing for me....the ornaments gets lost in all the chaos. I have been pouring over the cookie books and magazines, I have already started address all those dang cards I send out...over 80. I even bought a new hat...a snowman hat...maybe I'll get Dwen to take my picture in it and I can post it...or maybe not! I hope your spirits are high and you are looking forward to Christmas as much as I am. Even with an empty nest....I just can't seem to control my love for this holiday!
